Graymont Cricket Lime Plant
The Cricket Mountain plant is one of the largest, most modern and efficient lime plants in the Western U.S. High quality limestone and dolomite are quarried in the Cricket Mountains, six and one half miles west of the plant. The limestone is crushed and sized at the quarry and delivered to the plant by truck. The stone is then processed in four modern, coal fired, preheater rotary kilns. (Source)
