Applications for Circuit Breaker property tax relief are currently being accepted (deadline September 1st) by the Millard County Auditor’s office.
Eligibility to qualify for Circuit Breaker tax credit:
► You are a homeowner
► Your home is owner-occupied
► Your 2021 total household income was less than $35,807
► You are a Millard County resident
► You owned the home for the entire calendar year
► You are either at least 66 years or age, or an unmarried surviving spouse (regardless of age)
Additional information, proof of residency, and verification of household income is required for application.
Utah law also provides for four additional types of property tax relief: Veterans with a Disability, Active or Reserve Duty Armed Forces Exemption, Blind Exemption, Indigent Abatement/Deferral. More information on these can be found here.
